About The American Society of Certified Auto Appraisers
Who are we?
The American Society of Certified Auto Appraisers is a North America organization of auto appraisal professionals and others interested in the appraisal profession. ASCAA is the only major auto appraisal organization representing the auto appraiser exclusively.
ASCAA is run by a Board of Governors made up of representatives from coast to coast in North America. The goal is to ensure quality, ethics and standards in the auto appraising industry.
Ethics and Professional Standards
One of ASCAA's primary objectives is to ensure ethical practices and procedures on the part of its members. The society is diligent in its efforts to strengthen and uphold the Principles of Appraisal Practice and Code of Ethics (the code of conduct to which all members must subscribe) in order to protect the client.
ASCAA certified appraisers are experts. The meticulous ASCAA certification process ensures that ASCAA-certified appraisers are accurate, impartial, and credible. They are educated and experienced in the field and are respected members of their communities. Most importantly, they deliver independent valuations that assure automobiles are appraised at its fair market value.
