How the Referral Network works
- Become an ASCAA member and complete certification. Referrals go only to members who are certified and listed in the public certification registry.
- Opt in and tell us your coverage. Service area, vehicle types (daily drivers, classics, heavy trucks, RVs), services (diminished value, ACV / total loss, appraisal clause, pre-purchase, classic), and your turnaround.
- We match requests to coverage. Requests that need a local inspection or local market expertise are routed to an opted-in certified member serving that ZIP code.
- You quote and serve the client directly. You set your own fee, sign your own report, and own the client relationship.
Requests we typically route
In-person inspections
Classic and collector vehicles, high-value exotics, and appraisal-clause disputes where the owner wants an appraiser on site.
Local market expertise
Total-loss and ACV disputes where local comparable vehicles and dealer knowledge matter.
Capacity overflow
Peak-volume periods when requests exceed in-house capacity.
Specialty vehicles
Heavy trucks, motorhomes, motorcycles, and modified vehicles matched to members with that specialty.
Five online courses — USPAP & Ethics, Parts, Methodology / Classic Car / Diminished Value, Market Value, and the Final Exam — are taken in the member portal. Membership is $39/month or $295/year; courses are purchased separately ($65 each for members, or $325 for the 5-course bundle).
